Beta Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Meal Craft ("Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Meal Craft provides tools for saving, organizing, and managing meal recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists. The Service may change over time, including features, functionality, and availability. No guarantee is made that any specific feature will remain available.

3. Beta Service Status

Meal Craft is currently provided as a Beta service.

By using the Beta service, you acknowledge and accept that:

• The Service may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features
• Features may change, reset, or be removed without notice
• Availability, performance, and reliability are not guaranteed
• Data loss or corruption may occur

The Beta service is provided for evaluation and feedback purposes and should not be relied upon for permanent or critical data storage.

4. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction)
• Provide a valid email address
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes

5. Accounts

Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

Account Accuracy

• You agree to provide accurate and current information
• Meal Craft may suspend or terminate accounts with invalid or misleading information

6. User Content

Ownership

• You retain ownership of recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists you create or upload
• You grant Meal Craft a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process, and display this content solely to operate and improve the Service

Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for the content you submit
• Content must not violate applicable laws, infringe intellectual property rights, or contain harmful, abusive, or unlawful material

Meal Craft does not review, verify, or endorse user-submitted content.

Third-Party Content Responsibility

Users may upload or save content created by third parties, including recipes.

By submitting content, you represent that:

• You have the right to store and use the content for personal purposes, or
• Your use of the content qualifies as personal, private, or otherwise lawful use under applicable law

Meal Craft:

• Does not claim ownership of third-party content uploaded by users
• Does not review, monitor, or validate ownership of user-submitted content
• Does not share user content with other users or the public

Responsibility for the legality of uploaded content remains solely with the user.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to access, interfere with, or compromise other users' data
• Disrupt, overload, or degrade the Service
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform without authorization
• Circumvent security or access controls

Violations may result in suspension or termination without notice.

8. Pricing, Advertising, and Monetization

The Service is currently offered free of charge during the Beta period.

Meal Craft reserves the right to:

• Introduce paid plans, subscriptions, usage limits, or premium features
• Introduce advertising or sponsorships
• Modify pricing or access terms upon general availability

Free access during Beta does not guarantee free access in the future.

9. Account Termination

By You

You may request account deletion at any time by emailing support@mealcraft.me from your registered email address.

By Meal Craft

Meal Craft may suspend or terminate access at any time, including during Beta, if:

• These Terms are violated
• Use creates legal, security, or operational risk
• The Beta service is modified or discontinued

The Beta service may be discontinued at any time without liability.

10. Intellectual Property

• The Meal Craft name, branding, software, and website content are owned by Meal Craft
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission

11. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

Meal Craft does not guarantee:

• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• Error-free operation
• Preservation of user content

These limitations apply in general and especially during the Beta period.

12. Disclaimers

Meal Craft provides organizational and informational tools only.

• Recipes and food-related content may be user-generated
• Nutritional, dietary, allergy, or food safety outcomes are not guaranteed
• You are responsible for food preparation decisions, ingredient safety, and dietary considerations

Meal Craft disclaims all liability related to cooking, health, or dietary outcomes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Meal Craft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to use the Service, if any

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meal Craft from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your content
• Your violation of these Terms

15. Changes to Terms

Meal Craft may update these Terms at any time. Due to the Beta nature of the Service, changes may occur more frequently.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
